Most impactful case?
‘We’ve had so many interesting cases, so that’s hard to say. For example, in the distant past we had several summary proceedings about the legality of broadcasts of the program RAMBAM. That often led to hectic discussions in court.’
‘I also have many good memories of the negotiations for Freek Vonk with Albert Heijn, the acquisition of StukTV and in the acquisition of It’s Showtime by Glory Sports. As for sports-related matters, we conducted memorable negotiations for the players and players of the Dutch field hockey team and the Dutch women’s volleyball team. I think we can also be proud of the fact that we succeeded in getting a karateka to participate in a European Championship on behalf of the Netherlands in summary proceedings. The most prestigious cases have probably been the proceedings won against Fatboy on the copyright protection of seat and reclining cushions.’
